Acoustic Fields

Acoustic Fields unfolds as a journey through evolving spatial structures, drawing forms and audiences through fields of vibration.

Using a restrained visual language, the work activates the full spatial system of The Now Building. The site becomes the canvas while the exhibition operates as a form of architecture; audiovisual structures appear, shift and dissolve, playing with notions of enclosure, position and orientation.

Working with the building’s 360° L-Acoustics L-ISA audio system and its five surrounding screens as a continuous instrument, the sound and visuals were conceived through a single compositional process that treats space as a central medium.
